Time for another Open Championship
The women take centre stage this month as the AIG Women's Open Championship is contested on one of the great, and arguably most difficult, links courses in the world when they tee it up at Carnoustie August 19-22, 2021.
The Women's Open will be played for the 2nd time at this legendary course just one week after the women tackle the newest kid on the block in that region of Scotland, Dumbarnie Links, at the 2021 Women's Scottish Open.
2 weeks to settle down with your morning coffee and enjoy some great links golf action!
In this month's newsletter:
- An update on "A week in Dornoch with Lorne Rubenstein" - there are still a few spots available and Lorne spent some time with us talking about what attendees can expect if they come on the trip.
- Details and link to sign up for a week in St Andrews in July 2022 (during a pretty big event) with TJ.
- Results and quick facts from the Golf Away Tours Open Championship Pool.
- TJ's preview the Women's Open Championship. Entry details for the pool will be coming out the week before the event but this will give you a taste who to pick, or not pick, at this year's final major.
- Click the poster at the bottom for all the detail about our 2022 Sweep and Swing Tour. We had amazing response to our announcement last month so don't delay if you're interested in joining that great trip.
One last thing.

A week in Dornoch with Lorne Rubenstein
As we announced in our May Newsletter, 20 years after publishing his famous book “A Season In Dornoch: Golf and Life in the Scottish Highlands”, Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member Lorne Rubenstein is making a return trip to the Highlands of Scotland to spend a week in Dornoch golfing, visiting his favourite old haunts, and meeting up with old friends.
TJ and Lorne were zooming to chat about the trip and what they were looking forward to next April. Ron overheard a bunch of the chat and asked TJ and Lorne if it would be possible to go back and repeat some of that conversation while taping it so we could share it with everyone.
There are still a few spots left on the trip so take a listen to some of what you can expect in these 3 short videos and get in touch with us if you want to join in on the fun!
Space is limited so sign up soon to avoid disappointment.

TJ's Women's Open Championship Preview
As always, we want to help you, the reader, to know who not to pick when you submit your majors pools so once again, TJ will be sharing his thoughts on the tournament and who he thinks will ultimately come out on top.
Once again, there is definitely some great insight to be gained by taking a look at this preview - how you use it is up to you because be forewarned, 97% of the participants in the Men's Open Championship Pool, including TJ's not quite 3 year old son, beat his score....
