Fall Golf
Both the Solheim and Ryder Cups were won pretty convincingly last month but we're pretty sure what you really want to know though is who won the Battle at Bond Head. Good news for Ron is that his defending champion North Team held off a strong South Team to win the prestige event at the Club at Bond Head!
We now move into the last few weeks of the golf season with shorter days, crisp fall air, and plenty of great golf to still look forward to as the season winds down.
We love the fall because for us, it means great golf in great locations. This year, we are heading to Wales for the IGTM Conference (a premier golf travel conference) to meet with our global colleagues and suppliers and learn about all the great travel opportunities we can share with you coming out of the pandemic. We will get to see old friends, meet new ones, all while finding the best opportunities to present to you as you get ready to travel again and we'll let you know how that conference went in the next newsletter.
In this month's newsletter:
Fall 2022 will offer everyone a chance for great golf in Scotland, combined with some amazing curling, and great camaraderie as we host the 2022 Sweep and Swing. With golf and curling both in full swing across Canada now, we are going to:
By the way, with the weather getting cooler, anyone looking for some indoor golf should contact our GTA indoor golf partner, Swing Golf Lounge, as they have just re-opened for the year with their state of the art trackman system.

We always say it because it's true - talking golf, and golf travel, is our passion so get in touch with us anytime and we would be more than happy to share that passion with you.
Stay safe, stay healthy, enjoy this month’s newsletter and give us a call when you're ready to build your golf getaway - we’ll be happy to bring it to life for you!!!

- Review the 2019 Sweep and Swing (has it really been 2 years already!)
- Look at the details of the 2022 version
- Catch up with Glenn Howard, plus Sherry and Wayne Middaugh, as they look forward to the 2022 tour. We all got together for a round of golf / planning and took a few videos to give you an idea of what you can expect.
- Answer the FAQ's we often get about the tour (including the one we get most often - won't the weather be bad at that time of the year?)
By the way, with the weather getting cooler, anyone looking for some indoor golf should contact our GTA indoor golf partner, Swing Golf Lounge, as they have just re-opened for the year with their state of the art trackman system.

2019 Sweep and Swing Review
In 2019, we held our 3rd Sweep and Swing Tour and, as always, a great time was had by all. With Glen Howard and John Morris hosting, everyone enjoyed an amazing tour of fun and adventure.
We had everything from occasional golfers and curlers through to the avid players, fathers and son combos and repeat joiners but more important than anything else, we had a group of people intent on having a great time and it made for an amazing trip.

Sweep & Swing
The 2022 Version
Just over a year from now, Golf Away Tours, along with our celebrity hosts, will be enjoying an amazing adventure as we visit Carnoustie and St Andrews for an tour that all who join will remember forever.
Golfers, non golfers, curlers and non curlers will all tour together as we enjoy 9 days of fun and adventure - no experience needed (except proven experience at having a great time!).

Get to know the hosts - and why they are excited about the trip
We were able to get together with 3 of our celebrity hosts a couple of weeks ago to play a little golf, talk about the trip, hear why they wanted to join us and what they are expecting. Unfortunately, Judy Howard was not able to make it, but you know she is a saint as she married Glenn and his curling schedule :), so we'll all get to know her on the trip!

Sweep and Swing
Your top questions answered
We're off to strong start booking spots for next years Sweep and Swing, and we have also been speaking to a lot more people about joining the tour.
When we speak with everyone interested, we get a lot of the same questions so we put together and FAQ page for the tour, just to give everyone a single resource they can check out.
We know this doesn't answer every question so give us a call if you have any additional question, or to book your spot.
