Muskoka Bay, Taboo, Rocky Crest, Seguin Valley, Deerhurst Highlands and The Ridge at Manitou all crack the Score Golf list and for good reason. With the Canadian Shield visible on each of these courses, and the many lakes in the area guarding the landing areas and greens, you won’t be too upset at your score given all the stunning vistas you will be seeing.

| Off the course is equally as enjoyable when in Muskoka. Muskoka life is all about nature with hiking, swimming, boating and just lying around on the deck pretty much defining life in the area. I find the cottage resort atmosphere of Rocky Crest Resort, combined with its central location, the perfect place to make a base of operations and live the “Muskoka Life”. Many of the rooms have recently been updated and the resort location right on Lake Joseph makes it a true Muskoka experience. |
Rocky Crest is definitely not the only game in town though as topflight accommodations / resorts can be found all over the area including Taboo, JW Marriott, Sherwood Inn and Deerhurst Resort. With so many options you will definitely find something to meet your needs.
The Muskoka region of Ontario is perfect for that quick getaway if you are a local or as part of a longer trip from other parts of the country. You can easily add in some time in Toronto and maybe get out to play a Glen Abbey or TPC Osprey Valley while enjoying time in Canada’s largest city.
