The home base for our “Week in Dornoch with Lorne Rubenstein” tour is, not surprising given the title, Dornoch. Lorne Rubenstein wrote the book “A Season In Dornoch: Golf and Life in the Scottish Highlands”, about the time when he and his wife Nell rented a flat in the very centre of this wonderful town where golf is king.
We thought about trying to write something about the town but we realized there is nothing we can write that compares to hearing about this amazing place from Lorne himself. So, we clipped out a portion of the interview TJ had with him last month where he talks a bit about the town and his experience there and made that the centerpiece of our guide this month
