2022 Masters Pool Results (and a few fun facts)

Spring in Augusta! What a great feeling, and what a great tournament, as Scottie Scheffler continued his amazing year by winning the 86th Masters.

We had another big year in the pool with more participants than ever but before we reveal the winner, here are a couple of fun facts about the pool:

• Scottie was only chosen by 10 poolies, definitely giving them the advantage.
• The most popular pick in the pool was once again Tommy Fleetwood with 69% of participants selecting him (not a lot of love for Russell Henley, Marc Leishman, Lucas Herbert and Matthew Wolff!!)
• TJ is improving immensely over his performance last year with only 40% of the poolies beating his score – pretty disappointing people! 😊
• Ron did, once again, beat TJ (7 pool victories in row over TJ) and actually had a respectable top 10 showing with Rory really helping him out with his Sunday run.
• A perfect set of picks in our pool format would have gotten a poolie a score of $7,112,061.
• Our winning total was $5,916,218, which is 83% of the best possible total – pretty impressive!
• Second place was only 68k behind the winner – a very tight race indeed!

 
Now, on to our winner:

• With a total of almost $6MM, Cliff Hudder is the winner of our 2022 Masters Pool.
• Cliff has already been sent his prize pack so congratulations to him on this great result
