Well, the 2021 Golf Away Tours Major Championship Pool Season is over, so we wanted to give one last shout out to all the winners and give a recap of the bonus entries we gave out.
The year kicked off with The Masters where:
On to the PGA Championship and Phil’s thrilling victory:
Our first Women’s Major pool of the year, the Women’s US Open, had these results:
At the Men’s US Open:
Over the pond we went to the Men’ Open Championship Pool with Double Bonus entries on the line:
And we closed out the pool year at the Women’s Open Championship:

- 2nd place and 2 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Morgan Davies
- 3rd place and 1 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Cathy Shaw

Our first Women’s Major pool of the year, the Women’s US Open, had these results:

- 2nd place and 2 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Jeff Bell
- 3rd place and 1 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Bernadette Shelby
At the Men’s US Open:
- 1st place and 3 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Ian McGuire
- 2nd place and 2 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Tom Miller
- 3rd place and 1 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Ryan Lindstrand
Over the pond we went to the Men’ Open Championship Pool with Double Bonus entries on the line:
- 1st place and 6 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Gilles Hamel
- 2nd place and 4 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Marc Laverdiere
- 3rd place and 2 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Gary Peitzsche
And we closed out the pool year at the Women’s Open Championship:
- 1st place and 6 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Allan Patt
- 2nd place and 4 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Ryan Lindstrand
- 3rd place and 2 bonus entries into the “Win a Trip to Ireland Contest” = Jeff Bell
We had 2 multi time winners in Jeff Bell (with a 2nd and 3rd place finish in 2 pools) and Ryan Lindstrand (who pulled off the same 2nd and 3rd place double). Congrats to them on a great year of picks. Everyone who won the bonus entries has had those entries added into the draw and we wish you all luck when we do the draw in December.
