Nestled into the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja Mountains, San Roque’s Old Course is draped across 340 acres of hilly, interesting terrain. Managing the elevation change is the name of the game here, although the mature forests of cork oak make the fairways feel more narrow than they actually are. Canyons and beautiful bunkers dominate the back nine, and the long views provide a stunning backdrop for this Dave Thomson & Tony Jacklin design.
