Strategically routed in a figure eight on rolling, sandy terrain among the umbrella pines and near the marshland bird sanctuary of the Ria Formosa and the Atlantic Ocean, San Lorenzo is a beautiful golf course to journey around one of Portugal’s best settings. It is a resort course, so expect friendly fairways and the chance to score, although the par 4, 18th, with water all up the left, ends the golf course on a difficult note.
