The biggest greens and fairways are found at Sagebrush Golf Club. The joint fairway at the 11th and 14th measures a whopping 140+ yards in width, while two greens—the 7th and 16th—are 22,000 and 24,000 square feet, respectively. While this may seem big, the location mandates it: mountain ranges surround the golf course, and the majestic Nicola Lake below provide the scale needed to better illustrate Rod Whitman and Richard Zokol’s architecture, which is best suited for match play. Play all day, go to the chipping course, and play in large groups: a day at Sagebrush is up to the player to curate how they want the day to be, but do not forget to stop at Terry’s Hideout and fish!
