Often forgotten on trips to Royal County Down, and even more-so overlooked given the 4,548 yard scorecard yardage, the Annesley golf course is a joy to play. Even more than the notable Championship golf course, Annesley twists and turns through the dunes in a way that provides a sharp contrast to the grueling test of a Championship links. Of note, the stretch between the 5th and 15th, playing to short, yet narrow holes between the dunes is a highlight on either golf course.
