As opposed to other links golf courses like Royal Porthcawl or Royal St. David’s, Pennard sits high above the ocean in the cliffs overlooking the Gower Peninsula. The result is stunning, long vistas overlooking Oxwich Bay and the Bristol Channel with a nickname of “links in the sky,” and the golf, from the aptly named “castle” hole at the 7th, to the par 5, 16th make up a collection of the best holes in the British Isles.
