The much-anticipated follow-up to Cabot Links brought more drama thanks to the hands of Americans Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, who found ways to get the golfer to bring out the camera at almost any moment. Whether it be in the dunes at the par 3, 6th, playing in the highlands on the par 5, 7th, or the now-famous cliffside stretch to close out the round starting at the par 3, 16th.

McBroom used the natural elevation and mature forest to create a walkable, dramatic parkland layout with sweeping lake views on almost every hole, and it's consistently rated among the top public courses in Atlantic Canada. Its central Cape Breton location makes it a natural stop between the Cabot resort on the west coast and the Cabot Trail loop through Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
