Mexico's golf story is a tale of two coasts. Both the East & West are full of grand golf resorts.

The stretch along the east coast from Cancun down to Playa del Carmen is known as Riviera Maya.

Cancun Area

El Camaleón Mayakoba Golf Club: Designed by Greg Norman, this 18-hole, par-72 course is famous for hosting the PGA Tour's Mayakoba Golf Classic and, more recently, LIV events.

Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf Club: This P.B. Dye-designed course is known for its dramatic elevation changes, rolling fairways, and deep bunkers.

PGA Riviera Maya Golf Course: This Greg Norman course in Playa del Carmen is known for its challenging design, which includes strategically placed bunkers, water hazards, and natural obstacles like mangroves and cenotes.

Cabo San Lucas Area

The West Coast — Cabo San Lucas — continues to experience growth in its golf scenery and has become a sought-after golf destination.

There are three great public courses that are easy to add to any golf package: Puerto Los Cabos (27 holes), Cabo Real, and Club Campestre — plus the 27 holes open to the public at Palmilla.

Several of the top courses in Cabo San Lucas do require a night's stay at the selected properties to have access to them. To play Quivira one must stay at the Pueblo Bonita Pacifica. To play the two celebrated tracks at Diamante — El Cardonal and the Dunes — you can either stay at the Hard Rock or the Nobu Hotel.
